Family Law Cost Hub is a static website. There is no account, no login, and no server-side database for this site.
What happens to your calculator inputs?
Nothing leaves your device. Every calculator on this site runs in your browser (JavaScript on the page you are viewing). The incomes, timeshares and other figures you enter are not sent to us, stored, or sold. If you close the page, they are gone.
Cookies in this build
This build itself sets no tracking cookies and loads no analytics script and no advertising script. The interim cookie notice on each page stores only a dismissal preference in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) so the notice does not reappear on every page. It does not record advertising consent and it is not a certified consent platform.
Advertising that will apply when AdSense is enabled
Before any advertising is enabled, this policy and the site's cookie handling must be updated and a Google-certified consent platform must be connected for UK and EU visitors (see Consent below). When Google AdSense is enabled, Google will act as a third-party ad vendor: Google uses cookies, including DoubleClick cookies, to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites, and to measure ad performance. Google's use of advertising cookies is described at Google's advertising-cookies page. You can control personalised advertising from Google at Google Ad Settings, and opt out of personalised advertising from many vendors at aboutads.info. Ad placement on this site is kept away from calculator buttons and results, to avoid accidental clicks.
Analytics
No analytics script is loaded in this build yet, and no analytics identifier has been assigned. When Google Analytics or AdSense is added, this policy must be updated before go-live to name the tool, what it collects, and how long data is kept. No analytics identifier is published on this site in the meantime, and none should be inferred from this policy.
Consent management for UK and EU visitors
Visitors in the UK and the EU are covered by UK GDPR / GDPR and by the ePrivacy rules on cookies. The interim notice on this site is not a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) and must not be presented as one. Before AdSense is enabled for UK or EU traffic, it must be replaced by a Google-certified CMP (for example via Google Funding Choices or another certified provider) that records consent for advertising and analytics purposes, allows visitors to change their choices, and is configured to the site's actual vendors. Until that replacement happens, advertising must not be enabled for UK or EU visitors. The methodology page states the same requirement in plain terms.
Your rights
Because this site stores no calculator inputs and no account data, there is generally no personal data held to access or delete, other than emails you send to the contact address. If you email the site, your email is used only to reply and, where a correction is reported, to log the correction (without publishing your email address). You may ask for an email thread to be deleted by writing to the contact address. UK and EU visitors may also complain to their data protection authority.

Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated before any advertising or analytics tool goes live, and the update date above will change. The corrections log records material policy changes alongside figure corrections.
